A new anthology, Studies in Critical Thinking, is a guide or handbook for critical thinking instructors.  Types of chapters include guidance for how to use certain instructional methods (e.g., the Battersby/Bailin inquiry approach), and overviews of key concepts in critical thinking (e.g., abduction and inference to the best explanation).

Martin Davies, Ashley Barnett and I have a chapter in the volume called “Using Computer-aided Argument Mapping to Teach Reasoning.”

The whole book is downloadable for free in various formats from the link above.
